It should be noted that, at the same time as Tellia's, Interland has also found itself removed from Micras. As another stalwart of the Micrasian community, it is a worrying sign for both of our nations to undergo this fate. Unfortunately for Interland, I am under the belief that they are unlikely to be able to return to the lands they previously held due to a number of factors.
I would like to propose a pact with our Ashkenatzi-majority exclave, Merenolitovina, for the safe and controlled migration of Interlandians into Tellian territory upon our reclaiming on Micras. Traditional Ashkenatzi and Interlandian culture have a shared and intertwined history, with origins in the Slavic countries of eastern Europe. There are many notable similarities in the familial names of Interlandians and Merenolitovinan Ashkenatzim, with many having adjoining genealogical trees.
My hope is that, should we be successful in our return to Micras, we can permit the immigration of ethnic Interlandians into Merenolitovina and offer Tellian citizenship for those who so desire it. As a nation built on the combination of cultures and founded by immigrants from elsewhere, Tellia should support this movement, and offer a hand of friendship and help to the people of Interland.

Would this mean an expanded Merenolitovina in order to cope with the larger number of citizens?

Potentially. The original planned Merenolitovina region was notably larger than it was prior to our leaving Micras, so taking steps to secure that land may be beneficial both as a means of housing any Interlandian immigrants and also in terms of expanding Tellia's access to resources.
