Following the demise of the Republic of Ashkenatza, the FGGC (Tellian Football Federation) has announced that it will not be formally withdrawing from the FMF, but will be freezing its membership. Under FMF ruling, members have to be a have territorial claim on Micras, and as the Tellian federation can not fulfil this, they can no longer be a member until reclamation.
The movement to freeze the membership instead of formally withdrawing is due to the Tellian governments intention to reclaim its territory as an independent state. Until the formal constitution is drafted and a claim is put forward on Micras, then the FGGC will seize to operate intermicronationally.
However, regarding internal matters, the FGGC will still continue to operate the Serie A and its other affiliated tournaments within the territory.
No players will be transferred to other clubs outside the FGGC until the federation is successfully reinstated as an FMF member. Non-Tellian players in the FGGC leagues will be permitted to play in FMF regulated tournaments, and non-ethnic Tellian national players are free to represent other nationalities if they are eligible to, and will be able to decide whether to switch back once reinstated.
