Austbard 0-3 Tellia
53' - S. Özker
59' - S. Özker
77' - A. Uggè
A second-half blitz from Tellia gave them a win over Austbard, while the score is a harsh reflection of the débutants' performance, which was otherwise solid. The first 45 of this fixture were a slow start indeed, bordering on tedium, with only one shot finding the target all half; Gianluca Salmoiraghi's tame effort being caught by Werner Posen. If anything, Austbard were the aggressors before the break, but were unable to translate their attacks into anything more meaningful than shots wide of the goal.
The second half began a lot more positively for the Tellians, with captain Sezer Özker scoring a double in quick succession before the first 15 were up. Only eight minutes after the restart, Özker was put through after Marko Zajc and Salmoiraghi combined, with the latter finding his skipper just inside the box to power a low shot across Posen and in. Another six minutes on and Özker had doubled his and Tellia's tally, this time from closer range. Zajc found a gap to run through and was one-on-one with Posen before putting a hopeful ball across the face of the goal. Although potentially a shot, Özker was taking no risks and sidefooted high into the net from four yards unchallenged. Tellia made a double swap minutes after going two-up, and Salmoiraghi and Özker were replaced by Armando Uggè and Isaac Mahler. Uggè needed no second invitation to make it three within ten minutes of being introduced, with a smart finish just inside the right post after a swivelled control around Roman Zuzel in defence. Austbard didn't let the onslaught of goals affect them, however, and created a number of chances before the final whistle, being met by some agile keeping from Di Maggio to stop them. While a decent score for the 2012 champions, not the most dominant of performances to match, and Austbard will head into their next game keen to add a finishing touch to what they showed today.
