Tellia narrowly miss out despite final game win
Tellia have failed to qualify for the Repechage round of the FMRL World Cup by virtue of points difference, despite winning by 16 point to 6 against Uantir. Nova England lost 28-12, but it would have taken a margin of 62 points for Tellia to have overtaken. This season will be considered a success by the Tellian authorities, and may build some interest in the upcoming Serie Nazionale.

Tellian team to tour Keltia

Tellia have announced two friendly matches to be played later this month. The team will visit Haifa on 16th August, before travelling to Nova England the following weekend. Scrum-half Emiliano Abbrachiabeni said 'We hope to build on our successful qualification performance by playing these matches against Haifa and Nova England. We drew with Nova England last time, so we're really hoping to beat them!'

Tellia opened their Keltian tour with a victory over Haifa. Tancredi bagged two tries to add to the two from his previous outing, giving him four international career tries in four games. All three other scorers opened their accounts in the win, with Emiliano Abbracciabeni continuing his impressive goal-kicking record, putting three conversions out of five over to give his side a comfortable 8-point win.

Tellia have qualified for their first FMRL World Cup finals after thrashing Uantir 46-14. With rugby league on the rise in Tellia, and the new season of the Serie Nazionale imminent, the national team will be looking to take a good contingent of fans to Fort Kolgrad.
