The Fiorecittà board have taken the hands of two lucrative bids by Port Rackham Rangers and Cherry Trees of Cr30 million each for Pasquale Di Montezemolo. The offer was reported to be too good to turn down. However the board are going to be reviewing any other incoming bids so that the transfer doesn't take a long time to process.

Cherry Trees have upped their bid so that FC Fiorecittà can also have an option to buy on one of their youth academy's three most promising players, along side their initial bid.

Young Gaian centre-back, Pasquale Di Montezemolo, has written his signature on a four-year deal contract for reigning League 1 champions, Cherry Trees. Considered as one of Micras' best defenders, the 17-year-old went by his word of a previous statement, saying that he may join a "foreign" club in the then near future. The initial transfer fee is Cr 30 million, but this could rise by Cr 2 million depending on his appearances. Media speculation suggests there is a clause in his contract that states that unless he is too injured or ill to play, he must start each league game for Cherry Trees. This has yet to be confirmed by the club, but is believed to be true. The papers have also mentioned this clause may have been the reason Port Rackham Rangers, of Riponia, withdrew their equal bid as this would conflict with the team's rotation tactics. Oscland's New Luanda were also thought to be in the running, and although bidding more than Cherry Trees, they lost out. Di Montezemolo will wear the number 19 squad shirt, as it is his lucky number, as well as his age. This means the previous occupant, Marc Hjansen, has moved to number 22.
