With Merenolitovina being our autonomous region aimed at giving Ashkenatzi asylum seekers a reliable home in which they may continue their ways of life and culture, it is only fitting that the region be given its own distinct flag to represent it. With decisions in their early stages, the following flag designs have been suggested so far. Should you have any further ideas or comments, please post them below and we shall discuss them further. Fig 1. A reversal of the state flag of Ashkenatza, in which the flag's two colours are switched. Fig 2. A vertical triband using the traditional Ashkenatzi colours. Fig 3. A horizontal triband using the traditional Ashkenatzi colours. Fig 4. A design reminiscent of the "Blood-Stained Banner", using Ashkenatzi maroon. Fig 5. A design reminiscent of the flag of Czechoslovakia, using maroon and Gaian pink.

I quite like number 5!

It's certainly the most recognisable of those designs, and would definitely be unique within the Micras community! Number four is another I favour, but I think only having two colours limits it a bit

While 5 is very distinctive, the colours seem to be very odd. Perhaps try moving to a Tellian green section rather than a Gaian pink? After all, the Gaian pink is more associated with our ancient Fiorecittà.

You may be right there. How about this instead?

Here you go: I've also rendered the other option of having the triangle in green, just in case. I think I prefer this one most, if I'm honest:

I think I prefer the green triangle. It doesn't look right with a white one.

So, shall we proceed with making the version below the de facto Merenolitovinan flag (seeing that we are yet to have an official governmental ratification process)?

Yeah, definitely that one

I think we are all agreed on that. Let's formalise it.

How exactly do we formalise it? Is it now just assumed to be true, or do we have to vote?

With no governmental procedure for these things, I think continued usage and status quo is the best way to establish flags, symbols and such. The St George's cross isn't official within the UK, for example, but is still most widely used as the flag of England...
