These are the official arms of Fiorecittà, as used by the city's administration and authorities. The different aspects of the arms symbolise a variety of meanings related to Fiorecittà and its history within Tellia.
The central shield shows a cross of white on a quartered background of pink and green. The white signifies hope for the future of the city's (and Tellia's) survival, with the pink representing the predecessor state of Gaia, of which Fiorecittà was the traditional capital. The green stands for the Tellian state, with the cross design intersecting the two colours representing Fiorecittà's central role within Gaian and Tellian history.
Surrounding the shield are wreaths of oak and laurel; two species of trees which are commonly seen lining streets and in the gardens of Fiorecittà. A literal translation of the name "Fiorecittà" is "city of flowers", and plants play a large part in the city's culture. The wreaths are tied at the stem by a ribbon of green, white and pink.
Finally, atop the arms is a stylised castle. The castle's tiered design and turrets are reminiscent of the original abode of the King of Tellia, when the nation was a kingdom and Fiorecittà was its capital. Although now long demolished, the castle represents the resilience of the Tellian people and that the city will never fall.
